Ingredients

Base
  • 3 ripe bananas Sliced and frozen
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey Optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Toppings
  • 1 banana slices For topping
  • 1 peanut butter For a drizzle on top

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer

Method

Blend the froyo base
  1. Blend the frozen banana slices with Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey if using, vanilla extract, and salt until completely smooth, stopping and scraping down the sides as needed; the mixture should look thick and creamy with no visible banana chunks.
Freeze for a firmer texture (optional)
  1. Transfer the blended mixture to a freezer container and freeze for 2-4 hours until scoopable; if you want soft-serve, serve immediately instead.
Rest and scoop
  1. Let the frozen yogurt sit for 5 minutes at room temperature before scooping so it softens slightly and forms clean scoops.
Top and serve
  1. Top each serving with banana slices and a drizzle of peanut butter for a fresh, peanut-butter-forward finish.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, use very ripe bananas and blend immediately while the bananas are still fully frozen. Refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days (it will firm); freeze up to 1 month and thaw in the fridge 15–30 minutes for easier scooping. To keep it low in added sugars, skip the honey or swap for a sugar-free honey alternative if you prefer.
