Method
Make cereal milk
- Soak 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles in milk for 5 minutes to create cereal milk, then strain the cereal out.
- Blend the strained cereal milk with protein powder, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until completely smooth with no visible lumps.
Freeze and churn
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint or freezer container, then freeze for 24 hours until solid.
- Process in the Ninja Creami on Lite Ice Cream, or scoop from the frozen container after letting sit 5 minutes for easier serving texture.
Finish
- Mix in fresh 1/4 cup Fruity Pebbles just before serving so the cereal stays crisp and colorful.
Notes
For the smoothest churn, blend until the cream cheese fully disappears and the base looks silky. Store in the freezer in a sealed container up to 1 week; for best scoopability, let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving. Freezing again after mixing in Fruity Pebbles is okay but may soften the cereal, so add the mix-in right before eating. For a higher-protein, dairy-free option, use unsweetened almond milk and a dairy-free cream cheese alternative if desired.
